Editorial Policy
ASF Vignett Austria is committed to providing accurate, current, and unbiased information about the Austrian vignette system. Our editorial process involves:
- Verification of all factual claims against official ASFINAG sources before publication.
- Annual full-site review in November/December to incorporate new pricing and regulatory changes.
- Event-triggered updates within 48 hours of any official ASFINAG announcement.
- Clear distinction between factual information and editorial opinion or recommendations.
- No paid content, sponsored articles, or affiliate relationships with vignette sellers.
- All authors identified and their qualifications disclosed on the About page.
Corrections Policy
We take accuracy seriously. If you identify an error on any page of asftravelvignett.eu:
- Contact us via the contact form or email [email protected].
- Describe the error clearly, including the page URL and the specific incorrect information.
- If possible, provide a source for the correct information.
- We will review the report within 24 hours and correct confirmed errors promptly.
- Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with the correction date.
Advertising & Sponsorship Policy
ASF Vignett Austria does not currently display advertising or accept sponsorship. We do not have affiliate relationships with any vignette seller, petrol station chain, or ASFINAG partner. Our operating costs are covered independently. If this policy changes, we will disclose it prominently on this page and on the About page.
Linking Policy
We link to external sources (primarily ASFINAG official pages) for reference and verification. We do not endorse all content on linked external sites. External links open in the same window to maintain accessibility. We review external links annually to check for broken or outdated URLs.
Accessibility Policy
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Our commitments include:
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility.
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios for all text.
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements.

Complaints Policy
We welcome feedback and take complaints seriously. To submit a complaint:

- We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
- We aim to resolve complaints within 10 business days.
- If unresolved, you may escalate to the Austrian Press Council (Österreichischer Presserat) for editorial complaints.
